The 50 Year Anniversary is on the Horizon
Well Leaf fans, if you haven't done the math yet then you may not realize that we are only 6 NHL seasons away until we reach the unthinkable - 50 YEARS WITHOUT A CUP!
May 2, 1967 is the last time our team won Lord Stanley's Cup. The spring of 2017 will mark 50 years without a championship and with the current roster it looks very likely that we will not be celebrating a Stanley Cup victory in 2017, but rather acknowledging a sad and somber reality.
This blog was created as the Unofficial Blog to document the days, games and happenings of our beloved Maple Leafs leading up to the inevitable 50th anniversary.
